Shannon Stevens is a Manager in the Claims Legal Audit at Markel where she guides a team of professional, in-house, legal bill auditors. Shannon is responsible for the review and approval of all claims-related legal invoices received by Markel.
Shannon’s unique background as a judicial clerk, practicing attorney, third party administrator, claims adjuster, and manager gives her a unique perspective in the insurance industry. She is now applying that experience to Claims Operations where she focuses on removing roadblocks and building relationships between claims, operations, and external partners while incorporating her passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
