Tracey Lesetar-Smith is currently General Counsel for NASCAR. Formerly Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs, Sports Events and Programming at Viacom, she was the senior executive overseeing all global business and legal affairs for world-renowned Mixed Martial Arts promotion Bellator MMA, Bellator Kickboxing, as well as all other sports programming for Paramount Network. She was also the first General Counsel of Bellator MMA and the first-ever woman to helm the legal department of a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion, worldwide. Successfully built Bellator’s legal department from scratch starting in 2011. Presided over an era of unprecedented ratings and organizational growth as well as the company’s worldwide expansion under Viacom Media Networks, including into the United Kingdom and Europe. Oversee all business and legal affairs matters touching the business, including contracts, distribution deals, international expansion, litigation, production, immigration, licensing, corporate matters, and fight industry regulatory/government affairs (federal, state, and tribal).
