The Honorable Stacey L. Meisel became a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of New Jersey on September 24, 2015, the first African-American and person of color appointed in that jurisdiction. She has been a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion initiatives. Here, her former law clerk Arielle Adler will interview her in an intimate setting, as the two discuss Judge Meisel’s background, her path to the judiciary, and her thoughts on diversity in the bankruptcy community.
